Like middle C on the piano, we believe the middle is the foundation, the home base, the starting point for what will become a beautiful composition in life’s masterpiece. Equally, middle school at Maranatha Christian Online is a well-orchestrated element of our students’ education and future.
Academic Counseling & Course Load
The goal of academic counseling during the Middle School years is to embrace exploration as they learn more about themselves and the opportunities available to them. Our online Middle School students will receive a Naviance account, which is an online site that can be used by students and parents for a variety of purposes including interest evaluations, knowing yourself, setting goals, and more. Students will participate in at least one Naviance Activity during the fall, winter, and spring. Each student has an individual account and parents have an individual account. During the spring of your 8th grade year, we will also hold a ‘Transition to High School’ session.
